Our new extension is taking shape and the first pieces of equipment are now installed, our new Dye Drums and mezzanine are now in place.
Drum dyeing machines are the main equipment for applying a consistent, deep color (known as “through-feed” or “batch dyeing”) to the entire hide or skin. The rotational action ensures even penetration of the dye solutions into the collagen fibers of the leather.
These machines are energy-efficient and less labour intensive, using less water and power compared to traditional methods due to efficient liquor circulation and high loading capacities.
